October 19 - 22, 2023

The following events require pre-registration:

All fees must be paid for registration to be complete. Refunds cannot be issued after the October 11th registration deadline.

Please enter the number of people attending each event or program below. If you do not plan to attend a particular event or program, leave the drop-down blank. Some events may have a limited capacity and therefore, reservations will be processed base upon reservation and payment times.

On-Campus Accommodations

Hickory Residence Hall

On campus accommodations are available for alumni & friends during Homecoming Weekend. Live the "Suite Life" for the weekend in a climate-controlled room with a private bathroom.

Guests may check-in at Hickory Hall on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday during the times below.

Check-In:

  • Thursday, October 19, 4 PM - 6 PM
  • Friday, October 20, 10 AM – 12 PM & 4 PM – 8 PM
  • Saturday, October 21, 10 AM – 12 PM & 4 PM – 8 PM

Check-out is required by Sunday, October 22 by 11 AM.

On-campus accommodations are $40 per person, per night and will include a complimentary continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. You must be at least 18 years of age to stay on campus. Please provide your own linens, pillow and toiletries.

Disc Golf starts at the Water Tower Pavilion and is open anytime. Golf Discs can be borrowed from Kelchner Fitness Center from 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Lean about the course.

Butsko Breakfast

Decker Gymnasium, Mansfield Campus

The Butsko Breakfast has been an annual event since 1986 to honor the memory of former Mountaineer assistant coach, Frank Butsko, who was killed in an automobile accident during a recruiting trip. The highlights of the Butsko Breakfast is the presentation of the Frank Butsko Award, John J. Atkins Award, & Snyder Award. They are the most prestigious awards that can be bestowed on a Mountaineer football player. The Butsko Breakfast is open to all guests.

Tailgating Lot Opens

Steadman/Water Tower Parking Lot, Mansfield Campus

Saturday's kickoff of the Homecoming football game versus Cornell University is at 12:00 PM. Access to establish your tailgate in the Steadman/Water Tower Parking Lot or at the Alumni Stadium Tent starting at 10:30 AM.

South Hall Mall, Center Quad of Mansfield Campus (outdoor event)

Meet up with your friends Saturday night at the center quad of campus. Chris Eckert Music and the Mansfield Band/Cheerleaders will be performing. Sit (or dance) next to a warm fire in the crisp fall air while you make s'mores. Alcoholic selections will be available. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and infused water will be available compliments of the Mansfield University Alumni Association.
